What role does Module 1 play here

Even though you are now in Module 2, Module 1 remains your constant foundation.

When working on your topic, always ask yourselves:

  • Are we looking at direct or indirect discrimination?
  • What stereotypes or biases may be influencing it?
  • Whether there is false neutrality in rules or practices.
  • What group dynamics or informal power structures are present.
  • Whether there is a lack of psychological safety.
  • Whether there is an intersectional dimension.
  • What organisational responsibility exists.
  • How this situation could be prevented.

These questions will help you avoid a superficial reading of the problem.

In Module 1, you already saw that organisations are not neutral, that certain rules can produce inequality even if they are not explicitly discriminatory, and that prevention requires transparency, listening, and follow-up.
