Work as a human right

The right to work is recognized worldwide as one of the fundamental human rights.
It concerns not only employment opportunities, but also the quality of the conditions in which this work is performed.

What does this law cover?

  • decent working conditions
  • protection against discrimination
  • health care
  • fair pay

Work should enable a decent life – not just survival.

Why is this important?

Working conditions affect not only individuals but entire societies.
Inequality, lack of protection and unfair remuneration have long-term consequences:

  • deepening social inequalities
  • deterioration of health and well-being
  • decline in trust in institutions

Human rights at work are the foundation of stable and fair organizations.

Shared responsibility

Ensuring these rights is not the responsibility of one party alone.

  • employers create conditions and rules
  • employees co-create the culture and respond to irregularities
  • institutions supervise and enforce regulations

A system only works when all its elements take responsibility.

Human rights at work are not an extra – they are a standard that must be consciously implemented every day.
